Problem :
Graduating students and early professionals struggle with an inefficient and overwhelming job application process. They manually search across multiple platforms, apply with generic resumes, and receive very low response rates.
Most applicants do not understand how Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) filter resumes, resulting in missed opportunities despite having the right skills. Additionally, there is no structured way to track applications or personalize submissions at scale.
The job search process is time-consuming, repetitive, and strategically unoptimized.



Solution :
I developed an AI-powered Career Acceleration Platform that automates and optimizes the job application workflow.
The system allows users to upload their resume, after which it:
Extracts and structures resume data intelligently
Matches users with relevant job opportunities
Optimizes resumes for ATS compatibility
Generates personalized cover letters
Provides skill-gap insights and improvement suggestions
Tracks applications in a centralized dashboard
This transforms job hunting from a manual, chaotic process into a strategic, data-driven experience.






Challenge :
One of the primary challenges was building a resume parsing system capable of accurately extracting structured information from different CV formats while maintaining data consistency.
Another key challenge was developing a smart job-matching mechanism that evaluates contextual skill relevance instead of relying purely on keyword matching.
Additionally, refining AI-generated outputs to ensure personalized, professional, and non-generic cover letters required multiple iterations and prompt optimization. Ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability was also a crucial part of the development process.
